Our Story
WZ Carpentry is the work of Wilmer Zumba, a carpenter with 22 years in the trade. The company operates in Connecticut and works only in residential properties, on the kind of finish work homeowners see and live with every day. That focus has not changed.
The work expanded from carpentry into the services that surround it. Windows, doors, and decks all come back to the same skill set, so homeowners stopped calling separate contractors. Today the service area covers most of Fairfield County and reaches into nearby Litchfield County towns.
The approach has not changed with the size of the company. Wood is inspected before it is repaired or replaced, and the estimate reflects what was actually found. Nothing is quoted from a photo or a phone description alone. Every estimate follows a site visit.
